Influence

Over the next four years of the CoReII program, this group aims to strengthen the collective skills of its members and increase the impact of its advocacy efforts.

The "Influence" methodological group will propose:

  • training sessions on targeted themes (participation in international summits, influence via new technologies, legal action for the defense of the rights of indigenous populations, advocacy training, etc.);

  • times for discussion, sharing of practices and mutual support among peers.

This group aims to enhance the skills of its members across all levers of influence — understood as awareness-raising, communication and advocacy — in order to defend the body of rights supported by CoRe and to progress towards achieving the 18 horizons of the program.

Drawing on the experience of the partners, CoRe II promotes mutual learning, the sharing of good practices and training in modes of influence action contributing to the systemic changes necessary for a just ecological transition.

The sessions may cover topics such as:

  • the development of influence strategies

  • awareness-raising, mobilization and communication aimed at influencing

  • legal action and research

Depending on the needs identified, additional activities may be developed (methodological tools, MOOCs, specific training, appropriation of international mechanisms and bodies).
