Resources CoRe 1
United in the Resilient Communities programme, Secours Catholique - Caritas France and its field partners in four regions (Africa, Latin America, Asia-Eastern Europe, Middle East) as well as its international research partners (CIEDEL, GEMDEV), aim to strengthen the capacities of vulnerable communities and partners to strengthen their power to act, design together and promote a just ecological transition and for them to contribute to it in their territories.
This concept of ecological transition combines the social, environmental, economic, political, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of development. The program offers an opportunity to foster local responses to a global problem, to analyze the factors driving scaling up, to give regional and international visibility to alternatives, and to define and promote a common position leading to systemic and structural changes.
These 4 years of program from September 2021 to October 2025 have made it possible to initiate a collective dynamic, made up of mutual understanding, sharing of knowledge and mutual enrichment, at the local, regional and global level.
This group of stakeholders was also able to produce a vision of a just ecological transition, which is intended to be improved in the second part of the program.
