Gender, intersectionality, and relations of domination
The issue of gender runs throughout the program and is addressed from the perspective of intersectionality and power relations.
The CoRe I program contributed to the development of a gender strategy within the DAPI of Secours Catholique, structured around three axes:
-
transformation of postures and relationships
-
practices
-
continuous learning with increased visibility.
In this continuity, the gender component of CoRe II aims at a dual challenge: to start from the realities experienced by the partners and to be part of the DAPI's gender strategy.
Led by the Palestinian partner of the program, the Association of Women for Media and Development (TAM), this cross-cutting group will put partners' experiences into perspective on the link between gender and a just ecological transition. It will promote the sharing of practices and challenges within a framework of collective learning.
The work will initially be conducted by geographical area, in order to take cultural contexts into account. The partners will analyze gender approaches according to the territories and identify the links with a just ecological transition and initiatives that value the role of women, with a view to building a shared vision.
