Webinar series to delve deeper

Capitalizations and International Volunteers

Capitalizing on experience is a powerful approach for reviewing projects, initiatives, group dynamics, and experiences. It is also an excellent tool for highlighting lessons learned. Furthermore, it's a way to transform know-how into shareable knowledge.

There is not ONE but several methods for capitalizing; what is important is the meaning and purpose of the approach.

Capitalization allows for the strengthening of the actors' power to act, by making them aware of their capacities on the one hand, and by giving them the confidence to be able to value it, whether in the context of learning and transmission activities, or even influence and advocacy on the other.

Within our program, capitalisation will be able to strengthen practices at the local level, but may also involve planned thematic/methodological and gender subgroups.

CoRe II aims to put capitalisation at the heart of the programme, by offering stakeholders the means to take ownership of it.

Indeed, we know that capitalizing on experience can take time, and that as practitioners on the ground, we don't always have that. It can also require trust, which can be strengthened by sharing different capitalization practices and drawing inspiration from external practices.

That is why we have devised the dual system that we wish to present to you during the next webinar.

=> This mechanism will allow interested actors to host an international solidarity volunteer from a CoRe member country within their teams, to support them in their capitalization activities and other project activities.

=> This system will foster a learning community around knowledge sharing, giving everyone the opportunity to strengthen their practices

See you on April 20th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm French time.

Monitoring and evaluation of changes

The change-oriented monitoring and evaluation system will be presented to you, along with the overall framework and opportunities to participate in the experiment, in order to deepen your capabilities, identify and measure changes.
