Agroecology and resilience of an agrarian system in the south of the Peanut basin

The study focuses on agroecology and food security in the Senegalese Peanut Basin in the Kaolack region.

This agrarian diagnosis traces the history of agricultural practices and socio-economic dynamics in the area and describes agronomic practices and the technical and economic functioning of current production systems.

Its objective is to study the place of agro-ecological practices in the study area, as well as to highlight factors enabling the development of more sustainable and resilient agriculture.
