In the rural communities of Florencia and Solano (Colombia), small farmers, Indigenous peoples, and Afro-descendants have been managing the commons through a dialogue of knowledge and by fostering family, community, and institutional relationships, while developing agroecological production methods that contribute to the care of life and the natural environment.

In this document, they have compiled their experiences and identified the knowledge that enabled them to gradually adopt agroecology in a region where they face an extractivist production model.
