This document analyzes how CIPCA Cochabamba has supported Bolivian peasant communities in protecting their water resources in the context of climate change.

By building on local knowledge and the gradual development of trust relationships, this capitalization succeeded in getting Municipal Law No. 109 for the management and conservation of hybrid charging zones adopted in Pojo - in just two years.

Six key skills are analyzed, from the diagnosis carried out by the inhabitants themselves to the transition to institutional scaling, to show how a community initiative can become a sustainable public policy.
