This capitalisation, carried out by CIPCA with the support of CIEDEL within the framework of the CoRe I programme, shows us the journey of Don Luis Alberto Rojas , founder and central figure of the Bloc of peasant and indigenous organisations of northern Bolivian Amazonia (BOCINAB).

Through more than 20 years of leadership, this article synthesizes the strategies and know-how that have enabled concrete progress for communities in the region - including the legal recognition of collective lands for peasant and indigenous families.

However, it highlights how personal values and education play a role.
