The OCADES Caritas Burkina network, in Burkina Faso, recognizing the challenges posed by food crises, the excessive use of chemical inputs, and harmful farming practices, has chosen to place agroecology at the heart of its strategic priorities. However, the success of this approach depends on the effective mobilization of communities to support a genuine change in practices. As a result, OCADES teams have developed several areas of expertise to support the mobilization of stakeholders on the ground.

This document is the result of a knowledge-sharing effort by members of six different dioceses and teams within the OCADES network, aimed at identifying key areas of expertise for supporting the transition to agroecology.
