This document is the result of an exercise to systematise the experience gained by ACLO teams in supporting women’s groups to adopt innovations and diversify their livelihoods.

In the community of Tambillo Alto, ACLO has begun its work with 18 families as part of the project ‘SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF INDIGENOUS AND ORIGINARY RURAL AND PERI-URBAN TERRITORIES IN THE OLPOCA MICRO-WATERSHED, TUPIZA MUNICIPALITY’, funded by Manos Unidas.

After two years of work in the community, although some of the families initially identified have withdrawn from the process, significant progress has been made with 10 families led by women, who have demonstrated commitment, initiative and the capacity for transformation. This group of women have dubbed themselves “innovative women”.

This document sets out the good practices identified during the support process that led to this outcome.
