The Guarani community of Trampitas (municipality of Entre Ríos, Tarija, Bolivia) comprises eleven families who, until 1997, worked as day laborers before being able to acquire their own territory.

This document traces more than 25 years of collective history: the founding of the community, the purchase of the land, and how its leaders gradually developed community leadership, carried out irrigation projects to support the food and economic autonomy of families, and forged relationships of trust with institutions and NGOs.

It also presents the community's vision for the future, as well as the land, social, and financial challenges that remain to be addressed. This experience is part of a series of systematization projects conducted by ACLO with the support of CIEDEL .
